MGS Delta: How to steal Major Raikov’s uniform fast

Upon entering the East Wing of Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab for the first time in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, you’ll find yourself given a mission to acquire Major Raikov’s uniform. Initially, you’ll notice that you have a Scientist outfit available in your camouflage options, which proves useful for bypassing many guards. However, it’s important to note that while wearing this outfit, you won’t be able to carry weapons or use close quarters combat (CQC).

In this walkthrough, we’ll show you a simple method to obtain Major Raikov’s uniform within two minutes after reloading from an autosave and entering the room. However, if you’ve already progressed in the game and Major Raikov has deviated from his original path around the building, achieving this swiftly may prove challenging. This outfit is particularly beneficial for a future confrontation with Colonel Volgin.

How to steal Major Raikov’s uniform – MGS Delta

Upon entering the room, first put on the Scientist camouflage and remove the face paint entirely. Next, promptly move towards the staircase situated in front of Snake on the southern side of the room.

Move to the final part of the hallway and conceal yourself near the corner. Wait for the oncoming guard and once he starts to head towards the stairs, swiftly switch your camouflage to a mode suitable for close quarters combat (CQC). Then, take him out by surprise.

Now, let’s find a spot around the corner and wait patiently for Major Raikov to leave the lab through the door. Upon exiting, he’ll spot the unresponsive guard and proceed towards him cautiously. At that moment, use close quarters combat (CQC) to render him unconscious again.

This version maintains the original meaning but uses simpler language for a more natural and easy-to-understand readability.

Grab Raikov’s body and move him past the door of the lab, over the bridge walkway in the center of the room. As he passes by, the door at the end of the walkway will unlock automatically. Once you get him near the lockers on the left, you’ll complete the level and earn Raikov’s Uniform as a reward.
