‘Mf Ghost’ Season 3 Will Release in 2026

Over the weekend, official sources for MF Ghost shared a fresh video preview. This video was not only a tribute to the final chapter of the original manga but also brought exciting news: the third season of the anime is slated to premiere in 2026.

Originally penned by Shuichi Shigeno, the manga titled “MF Ghost” made its appearance in 2017, serving as an eagerly awaited continuation of the iconic street-racing series, “Initial D”. Two decades following the events of “Initial D”, “MF Ghost” narrates the tale of Kanata Rivington/Katagiri, a 19-year-old prodigious racer with both Japanese and British roots, as he competes in his first MFG Competition while pursuing clues about his missing father.

By the close of December 2024, I found myself eagerly watching the second season of “MF Ghost” unfold. During the Peninsula Manazuru race, my favorite character, Kanata, absolutely shone during qualifiers with outstanding performance. However, his race itself was marred when he sustained an elbow injury, causing a noticeable setback in his speed and agility.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Season 3 has been officially confirmed for release in 2026! While we don’t have an exact window yet, considering the production timeline for previous seasons, it seems we might get our beloved anime back as soon as early 2026. Fingers crossed and let’s eagerly wait for more updates!
