The new gameplay trailer reveals a very violent game, with fast-paced action reminiscent of the *Spider-Man* games, but even more intense and impactful. Like previous titles, it features large, exciting set-piece moments. We see Wolverine effortlessly leaping from collapsing buildings and across moving vehicles – exactly what fans have been hoping for. Plus, the trailer gives us a first look at a slightly updated version of the classic yellow *Deadpool & Wolverine* costume.
The film features appearances by both Omega Red and Mystique, and a huge Sentinel designed to hunt mutants shows up at the end. It’s still unclear if we’ll see many more *X-Men* characters make cameos, or if the story will focus solely on Wolverine’s adventures. However, a behind-the-scenes look suggests that the film will draw heavily from the comic books, with plenty of details for fans to discover.
Liam McIntyre, known for his role in *Spartacus*, is set to play James “Logan” Howlett, also known as Wolverine, in the upcoming *Marvel’s Wolverine* project. He’s excited about taking on this famous character and seems confident he can capture the right tone – he definitely sounds the part!

I’m incredibly excited for this game and will definitely be among the first to buy it! It makes me wonder if people even line up for things anymore, but I’ll happily wait in line – even for a year! That’s right, *Marvel’s Wolverine* is scheduled to release on PS5 in Fall 2026. Seriously, this is great news!
