As Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) prepares for Phase 6 with “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” Kevin Feige is engaging in a wide range of conversations. Given that this phase may be his final one with the studio, he’s expressing his thoughts freely. From confessing that no MCU film has ever fully satisfied him to hinting at a significant “reset” of the universe, there’s much for fans to ponder. However, once Phase 6 concludes in 2027, what comes next is still uncertain. Yet, Feige shares that Marvel Studios is already plotting the next three phases of the MCU.
Feige explained to Comicbook.com that we’re currently focusing on the next trilogy of films, which makes up a saga’s three stages. However, the first film of this upcoming saga is heavily influenced by what we’re doing now with these movies and “Secret Wars”.
In a past interview with Marvel’s executive, it was disclosed that their cinematic plans extend up to 2032 – five years beyond the conclusion of Phase 6 with “Avengers: Doomsday.” This means there is an abundance of tales from this universe yet to unfold. At present, we’re unsure of what surprises await or what should be on our MCU wishlist, but one thing is certain: we eagerly anticipate that the storyline will continue to captivate us with more inspiring heroic narratives.
