Marvel Studios is gearing up for a fresh chapter with the official reveal of the cast ensemble for “Avengers: Doomsday,” featuring an exciting blend of both fresh faces and seasoned actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the unveiling video, a line of movie crew seats, each bearing the name of an actor set to star in “Doomsday,” comes into view, culminating with Robert Downey Jr., who was earlier revealed as Doctor Doom. The journey begins by introducing actors from the early 2000s X-Men film series (co-produced by 20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment) stepping back onto the stage after nearly two decades: Ian McKellen as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Kelsey Grammer as The Beast (following his post-credits scene in “The Marvels”), Rebecca Romijn as Mystique and James Marsden as Cyclops.
Coming soon are some of the characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Infinity Saga, including Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, and Winston Duke as M’Baku. Fans can also look forward to seeing new faces such as Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Tenoch Huerta Mejia as Namor, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Lewis Pullman as Sentry. The cast will also feature Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bacrach as The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Human Torch from the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps.
