As a long-time Marvel enthusiast and avid follower of the MCU, I can’t contain my excitement about the upcoming series, “Vision Quest.” Paul Bettany’s portrayal of Vision has always been captivating, and his emotional journey throughout the MCU has left a lasting impact on fans. The end of WandaVision was bittersweet, but the prospect of Vision returning in his own standalone series is simply mind-blowing!
The character of Vision, who wasn’t traditionally popular as a comic book hero, has seen a surge in popularity due to his storyline in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This has led to a growing number of fans appreciating the portrayal of Vision by Paul Bettany in the films and the series WandaVision. In fact, WandaVision, which was a massive success, is where Vision’s supposed demise in the MCU occurred.
Essentially, Thanos was responsible for his death, yet in the series WandaVision, Wanda somewhat brought him back to life. However, when her fabricated world collapsed, so did Vision. To the delight of many fans, he’s set to reappear in a new solo series titled Vision Quest.
Although the project hasn’t been released yet, there’s enormous excitement surrounding it, making any information about it valuable. Even a recent rumor that came our way is worth sharing with you because of the buzz around this anticipated project.
Regarding “Vision Quest”, currently there isn’t much information available. The filming is planned for early 2025, and it’s expected to premiere on Disney+ at some point in 2026. Originally, Jac Schaeffer was set to lead the project, but she was replaced by Terry Matalas, as reported earlier due to her involvement with the successful series “Agatha All Along”.
In the upcoming events, Paul Bettany will once again take on the iconic character he portrays, and it’s been confirmed that James Spader will lend his voice to Ultron again, following his introduction in the second Avengers film. The storyline remains a secret for now, but it’s clear that the series will revolve around Vision. However, the specific details are yet to be revealed.
Following my previous statement, this scenario certainly leaves room for speculation about potential gossip. We’ve recently come across a rumor suggesting that the series might introduce a secondary lead character besides Vision, who is said to be a young adult.
It’s said that Marvel Studios is scouting for a 18-20 year-old British male actor, specifically of white origin, to take on the role of the youthful co-star in the upcoming series ‘VISION QUEST’. (Source: @DanielRPK)

It’s worth noting that DanielRPK, who is well-respected and influential in the industry, has shared this rumor. While his claim adds a degree of credibility, it’s essential to remain cautious until Marvel officially verifies it.
The identity of the character remains uncertain, but based on fan speculation depicted in the image above, they suspect it could be Tommy. Given the way Agatha All Along dealt with Billy, this theory seems plausible. However, stay tuned for further updates as we’ll continue to bring you more information.
