Dotemu and Tribute Games have shared a long video showing the gameplay of Marvel’s “Cosmic Invasion” starring Nova and Spider-Man!

Nova and Spider-Man in Action
In the freshly unveiled clips, Nova demonstrates his power-infused assaults and strikes on adversaries, while Spider-Man displays swift combo moves and agile attacks. Each character offers a distinctive approach to play, which appears to harmonize exceptionally well with the collaborative aspect of the game.
Retro Aesthetic, Modern Systems
In keeping with Dotemu’s vintage design philosophy akin to their earlier release, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, the pixel-art style remains authentic. Moreover, the novel gameplay presents the “Cosmic Swap” feature, enabling players to instantly switch between two characters to construct combos and capitalize on enemy vulnerabilities.
The depicted levels vary from galaxy-like vistas resembling destroyed futuristic cities, indicating a blend of terrestrial and extraterrestrial expeditions.

Game Overview
2025’s “Marvel Cosmic Warfare” is a vintage beat ’em up, set amidst a galactic conflict against Annihilus and the Annihilation Wave. This game combines Marvel’s terrestrial and cosmic superheroes in a high-speed, side-scrolling brawler that supports both local and online multiplayer.
