I’m eagerly anticipating the cinema premiere of this movie in the U.S. and Canada, which has been pushed back from its initial May 2025 release to September 19, 2025.
Initially, the project garnered notice as early as December 2020, when Reiss’s script was featured on the prestigious Black List. By February 2024, it became known that Kogonada would be directing, and both Robbie and Farrell were being discussed to take on lead roles.

From my perspective, details about the film’s plot are being kept secret, but Sony Pictures labels it as a tale about two individuals unexpectedly united on an unforgettable and transformative adventure. With Kogonada’s introspective approach and Reiss’s distinctive narrative, anticipation is growing considerably.
Now that the trailer has been unveiled, viewers are at last able to catch a glimpse of the movie’s ethereal ambiance and romantic flair.
