Manhardt Performance has unveiled an enhanced version of Porsche’s formidable 911 GT2 RS, dubbed the TR 950. This new model takes the Turbo S platform to unprecedented levels. Boasting a robust upgrade kit, this German-engineered supercar boasts an astounding 966 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque.
The TR 950 gains significant performance enhancements, much like the Porsche 991 GT2 RS fitted with Weissach and Clubsport packages. MANHART boosts its power by reprogramming the ECU and adding a mapswitch function, along with a turbo upgrade kit. This kit incorporates bigger TTH turbos, improved charge air and cooling systems by CSF, an aluminum IPD intake manifold, and a water intercooler developed by MANTHEY with an expanded reservoir. The exhaust system is upgraded using MANHART Sport downpipes featuring 200-cell HJS catalytic converters.
To make sure the TR 950 can manage its substantial power effectively, MANHART has fortified the 7-speed PDK transmission with Dodson clutch enhancements and software optimization. Additionally, a MANTHEY-KW coilover suspension system enhances handling, and the original stock carbon-ceramic brakes remain in place, with optional modifications available upon request. The TR 950 rolls on MANHART Forged Line wheels, which measure 9.5×21 inches at the front and 12×22 inches at the rear, encased in Continental SportContact 7 tires.
Glancing at it, the TR 950 showcases a bold, aggressive demeanor with DB Carbon’s carbon-fiber accents. Additional features like a front spoiler, air vents, side skirts, diffuser, and custom air intake inserts are added to improve aerodynamics and style. The exterior dons MANHART’s distinctive gray-on-matt silver paint job, while the interior replaces red accents with black ones, enhanced by personalized MANHART floor mats. The TR 950 reinforces MANHART’s well-earned reputation for pushing Porsche performance to its limits.
