The Australian man who caused a stir by rushing the stage to touch Ariana Grande at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good is now facing new accusations.
There are reports on social media that a person has been denied entry to concerts on Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball tour in Australia.
Johnson Wen was arrested following an incident with Grande on the yellow carpet. Cynthia Erivo, who was present with Grande, intervened and was commended for her fast response.
Wen confessed to disrupting public order. During his court hearing, Judge Christopher Goh noted that Wen had a history of similar behavior and warned him that actions have consequences. The judge added that Wen appeared to be motivated by a desire for attention and didn’t consider the safety of others when he acted.
