Mizuno Sportstyle collaborates with trendy brand Maharishi to create a unique design for its Mujin 10 GTX model, maintaining respect for Mizuno’s history of creating footwear that prioritizes functionality and performance.
In the spirit of Maharishi’s ongoing quest for peaceful military aesthetics, the Pointilist Wave camouflage takes a fresh approach to the Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM), featuring an abstract orange pattern across its upper part. This reimagined camo is crafted from custom jacquard-engineered mesh and layering of PU sheets for improved functionality. Key safety features include water-resistant GORE-TEX finishes and reflective 3M elements that boost visibility in low-light conditions.
As I stride along, the vibrant orange Vibram soles beneath me ensure a grippy walk thanks to their boosted traction. But it’s the sleekly sculpted midsole by Mizuno that truly catches my eye, showcasing their top-notch cushioning technology.
By 2025, Mizuno had launched several versions of their Mujin line, such as the Mizuno x nonnative Mujin TL Mid GTX that boasted a sock-style upper without laces. Simultaneously, they also revived inline Mujin LS GTX models in different colors, including forest green and all-black options.
On April 25th, you can find the Maharishi Wave Mujin LS GTX at Maharishi’s brick-and-mortar stores, and starting from May 9th, it will also be available on the Mizuno online store.
