Little Simz Follows Up "Flood" With "Free"

Simz shows no signs of stopping, having released the lead single for her eagerly awaited sixth album, titled “Lotus,” set to drop in May. Subsequently, she unveiled the second confirmed track from this upcoming project.

Following several days of posting sneak peeks on Instagram, Simz unveiled “Free” – a tribute exploring the co-existing complexities found in love and fear.

“Love will never judge you because of your pain,” Simz croons over jazzy instrumentation.

Following Simz’ “Flood,” which boasts collaborations with Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly, along with a visually stunning music video directed by Salomon Ligthelm, sets the stage for Lotus. As of now, the tracklist for Lotus is yet to be revealed; keep an eye out for updates.

In the world of high-end fashion, Simz has established herself as a notable figure and was invited to walk down the Miu Miu runway for a second time. She first appeared on this runway back in March of last year, and she recently reappeared in the Spring/Summer 2025 Parisian fashion showcase.
