Within the world of Star Trek, the Klingons are arguably the most beloved alien race, even more so than the Vulcans. While they initially appeared as villains in the original series, it was the character of Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation who truly sparked a dedicated fandom. Fans have embraced the Klingons so thoroughly that a complete language was created, and many have learned to speak it! This enthusiasm has led to unique creations like Klingon opera and Shakespeare adaptations. Now, a fan named Princess Jackie from Seattle has taken things to a new level. As seen on Laughing Squid, she performed the entire song “Let It Go” from Frozen in Klingon, while dressed as Elsa, at Emerald City Comic Con. You can watch her incredible performance in the video below.

Princess Jackie’s performance of “Let it Go” won her the Emerald City Comic Con talent show, and rightfully so – it was a performance worthy of her ancestors and the legendary Kahless! It got us thinking, though: is she portraying Elsa, or should her name be spelled ‘El’sah’ – the traditional Klingon way? We’re also curious about her family lineage. She’s clearly a skilled warrior, and we believe she’d be a perfect fit for the House of Mogh, standing alongside Worf. Jackie brilliantly played a rare albino Klingon, a type of Klingon we’ve seen before in Star Trek: Discovery, proving they exist within the Star Trek universe.
The idea of a Klingon Elsa makes us wonder if there are other Disney characters who could be reimagined with a Klingon twist. We already see a bit of a Klingon feel in the Beast from Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan definitely has the energy of a Klingon warrior. We’d love to see Princess Jackie create more Klingon versions of Disney songs – anything but “It’s a Small World,” though. That song is annoying enough in any language, and adding Klingon sounds would just make it worse. We’re happy as things are!
