So, I hear Top Win International raised $10 million to buy Bitcoin, making them the first in Taiwan to do this. 🤔 Like, why not just invest in a goat farm? Goats are cute and you can get milk. But okay, Bitcoin, sure. Why not?
WiseLink Leads Investment
Apparently, WiseLink, a fintech firm in Taiwan, was all over this. They bought some three-year convertible notes and signed a memo to work on something called “bitcoin + cross-border finance.” 🤷♂️ Like, what does that even mean? Are we talking about Bitcoin ATMs in every country now?
And then there’s Chad Koehn from Kansas. He invested too. I guess everyone’s getting in on this Bitcoin train. Even if it feels like we’re all just riding a rollercoaster without a safety bar.
Stock Reaction To Bitcoin Strategy
The stock market seemed to like the idea. Top Win’s stock went up 12.5% in pre-market trading. But let’s not forget, it’s still down 50% from when they first announced the Bitcoin pivot. 📉 So, it’s a bit like getting excited about a 10% discount on a shirt that’s already 50% off. Still, the year-to-date performance is up 51%. So, I guess the investors are feeling optimistic… or delusional. 🤷♂️
Riding The Bitcoin Treasury Trend
Top Win is joining a club of 167 public companies that hold Bitcoin. Together, they own over 976,132 BTC. That’s a lot of Bitcoin. But what are they going to do with it? Build a Bitcoin pyramid? 🤣
Bitcoin that has been finally forfeited to the federal government will be the foundation of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve that President Trump established in his March Executive Order.

And now, the US government is getting in on the action. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says seized Bitcoin will form the “Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.” 🤯 Like, what’s next? A Bitcoin museum?
For Top Win, this is a big shift from their luxury retail roots. They’re listed on Nasdaq under SORA, and they announced their digital asset venture back in May. So, they’re all in. But I’m still wondering, why not goats? 🐐
