The official trailer was first shown to fans at Comic Con, but it hasn’t been released online yet. However, a short clip from the trailer appeared on actress Ritter’s Instagram Story. The video mainly showed Jessica Jones back in action, hinting at her tough personality and impressive strength.

People who saw the shared clip noticed a few exciting things. The brief video showed Jon Bernthal’s Punisher character fighting again, Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as Wilson Fisk, and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil preparing for another fight in New York City. It also suggested that Foggy Nelson, who viewers thought had died previously, might return to the show.

Matthew Lillard, known for his role in *Scream*, will be joining the cast of Season 2 as Mr. Charles, a political opponent to Wilson Fisk. According to Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel TV, the new season will focus on the theme of power. He explained that when Fisk gains control of New York, becoming almost like a king, he enters a higher level of global power, and Lillard’s character will embody that kind of influence.

Winderbaum also stated that the *Daredevil: Born Again* series will tie into the upcoming *Spider-Man* movie, increasing fan anticipation for the show, which is scheduled to premiere in March 2026.

Charlie Cox revealed that Matt Murdock will face greater challenges this season. He explained that the agreement between Matt and Wilson Fisk, a key moment in season one, is no longer in effect. According to Cox, the landscape has shifted, creating a darker and more dangerous world for heroes striving to do good.

Cox shared that he and D’Onofrio are actually close friends in real life, and he expressed his hope that the show continues for as long as possible because of their friendship.

Krysten Ritter described returning to the role of Jessica Jones after a long break as both strange and familiar. She shared her affection for her co-star, Charlie, and how much she enjoys working with him and portraying the characters. She said the experience felt significant, joyful, and epic.
