The creator behind the indie sensation Vampire Survivors, known as Poncle, is furthering their publishing endeavors with the launch of Kill the Brickman. This game was secretly revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase event at Gamescom 2025.
The game, called Doonatsaur’s creation, is playable on PC, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android. It’s classified as a space-themed “turn-based roguelike shooter,” where you shatter bricks instead of traditional blocks. In each session, players design their unique brick-destroying arsenal, blending various relics, magazines, and ammunition types to achieve powerful synergies.
The game “Kill the Brickman” showcases more than a dozen formidable opponents, along with ten distinct bosses. These adversaries can be likened to Tetris blocks, except they possess an insatiable appetite for human life and an aspiration to dominate the cosmos.
Previously, Poncle had secretly released Nao Games’ Berserk or Die before any official announcement, which means that Kill the Brickman is now their second title to be published by them.
