Kenzo FW25 Fell Down The Rabbit Hole

At the Kenzo Fall/Winter 2025 women’s fashion show, which marked their return to womenswear shows after eight years, they turned the runway into a lively celebration. The soundtrack featured iconic artists like Blondie, Patti Smith, and the Sex Pistols. The theme of the event was “Lucky Me? Lucky You,” and it showcased an array of fashion styles inspired by the 80s.

As a fan, I was captivated by the style transformation of my boyfriend’s Savile Row attire, which beautifully merged oversized suiting with recognizable streetwear vibes. Harem pants with sheer fabric were matched with tailored tuxedo jackets and snapback hats. In the morning-after look, slip tops were casually draped over wide-legged trousers, complemented by mesh tops and blazers.

In terms of accessories, crystal-embedded belts showcased both the brand’s and the art director’s names using katana-style font. Feather trims were added to Sain bags, reflecting the prevalent textured theme this season. The texture motif continued with a unique creation – a sleeveless top made from stitched-together toy rabbits reminiscent of Beanie Babies. Subsequent outfits further embraced the Peep-inspired stuffed animal vibe. Pink and baby blue hoodies adorned with bunny ear hoods graced the runway, flopping down the stairs before they reached it.

In summary, the gathering showcased the brand’s innovative flair within the realm of pop-art. Regrettably, the creative director, Nigo, was absent in Paris due to business commitments, and design director Joshua A. Bullen opted out of the customary closing bow.
