It’s been confirmed that Kelly Osbourne is now engaged to Sid Wilson. This engagement took place during a significant moment – Wilson proposed as they attended Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in England on the 5th of July.
Onlookers experienced a unique instance as a video posted on Instagram showcased it. Sid Wilson affectionately addressed Kelly, saying, “Kelly, I love you more than anything the world has to offer.” However, her father, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, playfully butted in with a jest, shouting, “Back off! You’re not going to marry my daughter!
Overwhelmed with joy, I couldn’t help but chuckle as I continued with my heartfelt question. “There isn’t a moment I wouldn’t prefer spending than the ones with you, dear one. So, with your family and friends bearing witness, will you make every moment from this day forward mine, Kelly?” Caught off guard, yet without hesitation, you nodded yes and enveloped me in a tight embrace.
Their family, including their mom, Sharon Osbourne, and brother, Jack Osbourne, cheered them on.
A love story 25 years in the making
Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson have been acquainted since the year 1999. Their paths crossed when Slipknot joined forces with Ozzfest, a music festival spearheaded by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Over the years, they maintained their friendship, but it wasn’t until January 2022 that they officially became romantic partners.
At that point, a source informed PEOPLE the pair were extremely content together. On their inaugural Valentine’s Day as a couple, Kelly published an affectionate Instagram post. “I never thought after 23 years of friendship we would end up here! You are my dearest friend, my soulmate, and I am so profoundly in love with you, Sydney George Wilson,” she penned.
Wilson responded with a message that conveyed, “The spectrum of love I hold in my heart can’t be fully expressed by colors; it’s more vibrant than that. Happy Valentine’s Day, my dear one, with love and kisses, XoXo.
Back in May 2022, I took to Instagram to share some exciting news – I’m expecting a baby! I posted a picture of an ultrasound image and expressed my feelings with these words: “I am absolutely thrilled beyond belief to announce that I will be embarking on the incredible journey of motherhood. In early 2023, it was announced on The Talk that Kelly had a son named Sidney, despite her initial wish to keep the birth private. She shared this news, expressing their well-being, though declined to share any photographs of him.
