After ending collaborations with New Balance and adidas earlier this year, JJJJound returns with another footwear project in partnership with Vans. Their initial collaboration started back in 2017, and their most recent work together was a hospitality-themed campaign that launched three silhouettes in July of 2023. Now, as Vans transitions the Vault by Vans line to OTW by Vans, they are preparing for their first collaboration with JJJJound since the rebranding.

On Instagram, JJJJound has enticed us with their initial collaboration with Vans for the OTW (Off The Wall) campaign. The iconic Half Cab shoe, specifically the LX Half Cab Reissue 33 Decon, is featured in two color options: black and burgundy. Both versions boast a suede upper and a sole unit in a “Marshmallow” hue, with matching Half Cab collar branding. It’s worth noting that there are slight differences between the prototypes shown, suggesting that the final production shoes might undergo changes when they hit the market later this year.

As I type this, it’s still uncertain when exactly JJJJound and OTW by Vans will unveil the specifics of their upcoming LX Half Cab Reissue 33 Decon collaboration. Keep your eyes peeled for future announcements, including a full reveal of the retail versions.
