Jennifer Aniston has explained that she wouldn’t reprise her famous role as Rachel Green on *Friends* without her late friend and co-star, Matthew Perry.

Aniston played Rachel for all 10 seasons of the hit NBC sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004.

Jennifer Aniston recently told *Harper’s Bazaar U.K.* that a remake or sequel to the show is “literally, physically impossible.”

Reports indicate Perry died in 2023 at age 54 due to the effects of ketamine. Drowning, heart disease, and buprenorphine also played a role in his death.

Aniston shared that it was sad to know how much pain he was dealing with privately. However, she emphasized that he found a lot of joy in life, and that was the most important thing to him.

Aniston also talked about how close the cast of *Friends*—including Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc—were to each other. They weren’t just friends behind the scenes; they famously worked together to all earn equal and substantial salaries throughout the show’s run.
