Jelly Roll says he’s dying to work with GloRilla

As a gamer who’s been through countless hours of virtual battles and real-life music debates, I can confidently say that GloRilla’s debut album “Glorious” is nothing short of a triumph. The collaboration with Jelly Roll, if it indeed materializes, has the potential to create an anthem that will echo across the gaming world.

Despite the excitement she’s generated up until now, artist GloRilla released her first album titled “Glorious ” on October 11. Though listeners are still processing the new release, fellow musician Jelly Roll has already given it a glowing review and expressed interest in working together with her.

Hey @GloTheofficial! I absolutely loved your album, can’t wait to collaborate on the next one. Although we haven’t managed to connect in LA yet, let’s make it happen soon. Keep shining and enjoy the success you’ve earned. Wishing you all the best and sending you lots of love! (Tweeted on Monday, October 14)

Shortly before the album was released, we mentioned that GloRilla had enlisted several prominent female rappers for the project. On the track “Procedure,” Latto makes an appearance, while Megan Thee Stallion is featured on “How I Look.” Additionally, Sexyy Red collaborates with GloRilla on “Whatchu Kno About Me,” a song that samples Boosie Badazz’s 2007 hit “Wipe Me Down.

On the exact day when “Glorious” was unveiled, the music video for “Whatchu Kno About Me” was simultaneously released. In this lively clip, Sexxy and Glo are seen enjoying themselves in a hair salon. Boosie makes an appearance as well, showcasing his comedic talent.

From the responses, it seems that people are really enjoying the video and the song, with one comment stating, “Gloria doesn’t stop delivering hits after hits.” Another user added, “Gloria keeps dropping hit after hit! Sexxy Red was fierce as well!

Additionally, someone pointed out that the partnership between GloRilla and Sexxy represents a significant triumph for female rappers, as they chose to work together rather than engaging in competitive rivalry.

Originally, when Sexxy Redd became popular, there were attempts to compare her with Glorilla, as if pitting women against each other is a common tactic. However, now that they’re both featured on Glorilla’s album, it fills me with joy. It’s fantastic to see them collaborating rather than getting caught up in the narrative that often tries to pit women in the industry against each other. This development represents growth, unity, and a breakaway from the competitive environment they are frequently subjected to.

It would surely be intriguing to hear what a collaboration between GloRilla and Jelly Roll might produce, if such a project materializes.
