Jeffrey Dean Morgan recently shared his ideal acting role during a fan convention’s question-and-answer session.

Someone asked the actor if he’d be interested in playing Arthur Morgan in a real-life movie or show based on Red Dead Redemption, and he immediately said yes.

When asked, he immediately and enthusiastically exclaimed that it was exactly the project he wanted, and he made it clear he was completely serious.

I was so excited to hear him say yes right away! He didn’t even hesitate, saying, “That’s not even a question. I want to do it.” Honestly, he’s a huge westerns fan – he said it’s his absolute favorite genre, no contest! And it’s cool because he told me his son actually plays the game and thinks it’s “freaking awesome!”

He playfully said he’d abandon all his current commitments if he got a call about a possible TV show. He jokingly offered to work on it for free, but immediately added, “Please don’t tweet that!”

The audience burst into laughter, and he kept the joke going, pretending a film studio had contacted him offering him a job for free. He clarified he hadn’t really meant he’d work for nothing, but emphasized he’d accept the role immediately.
