10. ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ (2016–)

This popular TLC series, a spin-off of ‘90 Day Fiancé’, follows couples as they deal with the challenges of marriage, family life, and immigration. It first aired in 2016 and continues to be a hit, with new seasons regularly released. You can find episodes not only on TLC, but also throughout Discovery’s streaming platforms and alongside other shows in the ‘90 Day’ universe. It consistently ranks as one of the most-watched programs within the franchise.
9. ‘The Real Murders on Elm Street’ (2024–)

This documentary series explores actual murder cases that happened on streets named Elm Street in different cities across the United States. It combines interviews with people involved, official case records, and a breakdown of how each investigation unfolded. Originally released in 2024, with new episodes added since then, the series currently has two seasons and eleven episodes available to stream on HBO Max. 8. ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’ (2014–)

This HBO series takes a detailed look at important issues, combining in-depth research with current events. It began in 2014 and has since produced several seasons and special episodes focusing on topics like politics, government policies, and problems facing consumers. 7. ‘Baylen Out Loud’ (2025–)

This reality show follows Baylen Dupree as she lives her life, deals with family and relationships, and manages living with Tourette syndrome. The first season premiered in January 2025, and all episodes, plus a second season, are available to stream on HBO Max. The show features Baylen, her family, and her boyfriend, and can be found in HBO Max’s reality and family sections.
6. ‘Smiling Friends’ (2020–)

This animated series from Adult Swim, available on HBO Max, centers around a little company that tries to make people happy. Each short episode is only 11 minutes long and features a unique blend of animation styles. The show first premiered as a pilot in 2020, with the full series launching in January 2022 and continuing with new seasons. Creators Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack also provide the voices for many of the characters, and new episodes often appear alongside special events.
5. ‘The Friday the 13th Murders’ (2025–)

This six-part true-crime series explores actual murder cases that happened on or around Friday the 13th, connecting the superstition to real criminal events. The first season launched on HBO Max on October 1, 2025, and each episode delves into a different case with insights from investigators and the victims’ families. Ben and Dan Newmark are the executive producers.
4. ‘Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake’ (2023–)

‘Fionna and Cake’ is an animated spin-off of ‘Adventure Time’ that explores different universes. The show features familiar voices from the original series and follows Fionna and her cat, Cake, on their adventures. Created by Adam Muto, it premiered on HBO Max in 2023 and has been renewed for more seasons. Each episode is usually about 23 to 26 minutes long, and is produced by Frederator Studios/FredFilms and Cartoon Network Studios.
3. ‘Task’ (2025)

The seven-part crime drama from Brad Ingelsby follows an FBI agent (Mark Ruffalo) and his team as they investigate a string of dangerous home invasions connected to an unassuming family man. The series debuted on September 7, 2025, and finished its run on October 19, 2025. The cast includes Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Thuso Mbedu, and Raúl Castillo. You can watch the show on HBO Max after it airs on HBO on Sundays.
2. ‘The Chair Company’ (2025–)

As a huge comedy fan, I’m really excited about this new show! It’s called, well, it’s about a guy named Ron Trosper, and his life gets totally turned upside down after a mortifying moment at work leads him into this wild, unexpected conspiracy. It’s created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, and it dropped on HBO starting October 12th, 2025, with new episodes coming out weekly until the end of November. Each episode is around half an hour, and they shot it all on location in New York City. Plus, Lake Bell and Sophia Lillis are part of the cast, which is awesome!
1. ‘IT: Welcome to Derry’ (2025–)

This series, a prequel to Stephen King’s famous story, takes place in Derry, Maine, in 1962—years before the events seen in the recent movies. Bill Skarsgård is back as the terrifying Pennywise, and the show was created for HBO by Andy and Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. It first aired on October 26, 2025, with new episodes released each week, and quickly became one of HBO’s most popular new shows.
