HoYoverse recently shared the logo for their new cozy game, Petit Planet, suggesting a full announcement is coming soon. It seems they’ll likely follow the same pattern as the reveal for Honkai: Nexus Anima – expect to see the first gameplay trailer about a day after the logo reveal.
Even though HoYoverse isn’t attending Tokyo Game Show this year, they’ve chosen to announce their new game, Petit Planet, during the event. This is likely because Petit Planet will be released on Nintendo Switch, in addition to PC, iOS, and Android, and the show provides a great opportunity to share that news.

Okay, so HoYoverse – the folks behind Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail – are making a cozy life-sim game! Everyone’s been hoping for something like Animal Crossing from them, and it looks like this is it – it’s called Petit Planet. The first little teaser didn’t show a ton, but it was super cute. We got a glimpse of a beautiful night sky and a forest, and this adorable little floating creature! Another creature then catches it, and it looks like maybe the first one was just a baby version of the same species. I’m already hooked!
