In the upcoming update of Honkai: Star Rail, we can expect the addition of the playable character, Cyrene. HoYoverse had hinted at her arrival a few days prior to the HSR 3.6 livestream, suggesting she will debut in HSR 3.7. True to the established lore, Cyrene is depicted as following The Remembrance and inflicting Ice damage. As expected, she will join the game as a 5-Star character.
As a devoted fan of the Honkai series, I’m absolutely thrilled about the upcoming character, Cyrene. Her connection to Elysia, a beloved figure from Honkai Impact 3rd, has me on the edge of my seat, much like the anticipation that builds around HI3’s Kevin Kaslana and his association with Phainon.
Based on the new artwork that’s been unveiled, it seems that Cyrene might go through another transformation before becoming a part of our team. She appears to have grown up more and switched wardrobes compared to her current character depiction in the storyline. Interestingly enough, this would be her second evolution, as we initially encountered her as the adorable, furry creature known as Mem.
HSR 3.7 should be arriving in early November 2025, if there is no change to the update pace.
