Most Silent Hill games aren’t very long, typically taking between 8 and 12 hours to complete. The new installment, Silent Hill f, follows this trend, but offers additional features and content that will encourage players to spend significantly more time exploring its world after finishing the main story.
As a Silent Hill fan, I’m really curious about how long it’ll take to beat the new game, *Silent Hill f*. I’ve been wondering how long a typical first playthrough will be, and also how much time it’ll take to really dive in and experience absolutely everything the game has to offer.
How long is Silent Hill f?
Expect your first time playing Silent Hill f to take around 10 to 12 hours. It might be quicker if you’re a skilled puzzle-solver or play on easier settings. However, it could take longer if you find the puzzles challenging, explore thoroughly, or choose a higher difficulty.
You’ll probably want to play Silent Hill f multiple times, because New Game+ significantly changes the game and story with each playthrough. Luckily, these subsequent playthroughs include features that let you get through the story much faster, potentially reducing the time to 8-10 hours depending on the difficulty you choose.
How long does it take to 100% Silent Hill f?
Considering everything – the different endings and possible outcomes – we estimate it will take players around 40 to 50 hours to fully complete Silent Hill f. This includes watching all cutscenes, defeating every enemy and boss, and unlocking all alternate endings. It also means playing the game on each of its three difficulty levels, both for puzzles and combat, though you can work on those simultaneously.
