The Hot Wheels Collectors Anime Series is here, bringing together the worlds of car collecting and popular anime! The series kicks off with a collaboration featuring characters from the globally loved anime, Naruto – first revealed at Mattel Creations.
The design takes inspiration from a classic Japanese sports car, the Nissan Silvia S15. This model stood out with its bolder look and a powerful turbocharged engine, making it a step up from earlier versions.
The car’s design takes inspiration from Itasha-style artwork, showcasing Naruto in dynamic poses on both sides. Its bright gold paint matches Naruto’s clothing, and wave patterns emphasize the energetic and fast-paced feel of the anime.
As a movie and collectible critic, I have to say this Hot Wheels Naruto car absolutely radiates energy. It’s playful, but you immediately recognize the power of the character. Beyond that, it’s a beautiful piece – the artwork on both sides perfectly captures Naruto’s iconic poses in a style that feels like dynamic street art. The flames and wave details really bring the anime to life. And the golden Spectraflame paint? Stunning. I especially love the little details, like the custom “Naruto” license plate. Honestly, if Naruto himself saw this Hot Wheels, I bet he’d be grabbing the keys for a joyride.
