Created by Ludo Studio with ABC Kids and BBC Studios, the show is available to stream worldwide on Disney+. A feature film, written and directed by Brumm, is currently planned for release in 2027.

8. ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ (2005– )

Shonda Rhimes’ popular medical drama follows the careers and personal relationships of doctors at a hospital in Seattle, which eventually becomes known as Grey Sloan Memorial. The show features a large cast, including stars like Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, and James Pickens Jr.

The latest season has seen significant character developments and continuing plots under showrunner Meg Marinis. New episodes are airing on ABC and are also available for streaming.

7. ‘Tempest’ (2025)

I’m really excited about this new South Korean series! It’s a thrilling mix of romance and espionage, created by Jeong Seo-kyeong and directed by Kim Hee-won, with some amazing action sequences led by Heo Myung-haeng. The story follows Seo Mun-ju, a former UN ambassador, who teams up with international agent San-ho after a terrible attack hits the Korean Peninsula. And the cast is incredible – Jun Ji-hyun, Gang Dong-won, John Cho, Lee Mi-sook, and Park Hae-joon are all starring in it! I can’t wait to watch.

The nine-episode series will premiere on Disney+ (and Hulu in the U.S.) starting September 10, 2025. The first three episodes will be available immediately, followed by new episodes released in pairs each week, according to official announcements and reports from industry publications.

6. ‘Only Murders in the Building’ (2021– )

This funny mystery show follows three neighbors in New York City who team up to solve murders and turn their investigations into a true-crime podcast. It was created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, and features Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in starring roles.

20th Television produces the show, with Dan Fogelman as one of its executive producers. New episodes are available to stream on Hulu, and in many countries, also on Disney+.

5. ‘Alien: Earth’ (2025– )

Noah Hawley’s new ‘Alien’ series marks a first for the franchise by taking place on Earth. It begins with the unexpected crash of a spacecraft, which brings with it a host of dangerous new problems. The show stars Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, and other talented actors.

Created by and led by Hawley, the show also features Ridley Scott as an executive producer. The eight-episode season is available on FX and for streaming on Hulu in the U.S., and on Disney+ in some other countries. You can find details about the characters and additional content on the show’s official website.

4. ‘Chad Powers’ (2025– )

Created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron, this comedy series centers around Russ Holliday, a former football player who pretends to be someone else – a young athlete named Chad Powers – to get a spot on a small college team. Glen Powell stars alongside Perry Mattfeld and Steve Zahn, and Eli Manning, who first came up with the Chad Powers idea for an ESPN piece, is an executive producer.

The first season of the show launched on September 30, 2025, on both Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ internationally, with new episodes released each week. Peyton Manning makes a brief appearance in the early episodes, and reviews have focused on how the show is being released and the talented people behind it.

3. ‘The Lost Station Girls’ (2025– )

This French crime drama tells the story of a police officer’s relentless, decades-long hunt for a serial killer who committed four murders near a train station in southern France. The series features Camille Razat and Hugo Becker as main cast members.

The series first launched in France in January 2025, known as ‘Les disparues de la gare de Perpignan,’ and was filmed in the Pyrénées-Orientales region.

2. ‘Marvel Zombies’ (2025)

This animated miniseries, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, presents a thrilling ‘what if?’ scenario: What if Earth’s superheroes had to fight a zombie outbreak? The series features the voices of popular actors like Iman Vellani, Hailee Steinfeld, Florence Pugh, and many others.

The new series comes from Marvel Studios Animation and premiered on Disney+ on September 24, 2025. It’s connected to the ‘What If…?’ stories and is part of the next phase of Marvel films and shows – Phase Six.

1. ‘High Potential’ (2024– )

The crime drama centers around Morgan Gillory, a remarkably intelligent single mother with an IQ of 160. Initially working as a night-shift cleaner for the LAPD, she transitions to a civilian consultant role after her exceptional ability to notice patterns helps crack a difficult case. Starring Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, the show—created for television by Drew Goddard and inspired by the French series ‘HPI’—also features Daniel Sunjata, Judy Reyes, Javicia Leslie, and Deniz Akdeniz.

As a huge fan, I’m really excited about who’s behind the scenes on this show! Todd Harthan is running things as showrunner, and folks like Goddard and Olson are executive producing. They’ve even brought in some great directors – I recognize names like Alethea Jones and James Roday Rodriguez! And the best part? I can catch it streaming right after it airs on ABC.
