HIGH and ÖUS Unveil Y2K-Inspired Collab

The fashion labels HIGH and ÖUS have joined forces to introduce an exciting collaborative series called “Alien.” This collection captures the gritty yet forward-thinking vibe of the early 2000s. Their new line, encompassing a novel sneaker design, assorted clothing items, and accessories, takes inspiration from subcultures like skate, punk, and nightlife fashion, while weaving an original sci-fi narrative about aliens into the mix.

Bruno Narciso, founder of ÖUS, expresses that we’re re-experiencing the early 2000s from the perspective of people who lived day by day, free from worries, spending their time watching inspirations and enjoying what they loved most.

The “Alien” shoe comes in colors “Neptune” and “Mars,” and it features a bulky design similar to ’90s footwear. Made from top-quality leather, suede, and recycled polyester ripstop that doesn’t contain metal, it is a stylish choice for those who care about the environment.

This line expands past just shoes, including baggy trousers, printed t-shirts, caps, and skate gadgets, all embellished with designs inspired by aliens and graffiti art. We’re throwing a grand opening party on March 22nd in São Paulo, complete with a skate contest and live music performances.

HIGH’s partnership with ÖUS originated from a deep-rooted friendship and mutual love for skate culture. Interestingly, High’s initial office was located at the home of one of ÖUS’s founders in Curitiba back in 2014. As Diogo, the founder of High, points out, this collaboration represents years of friendship and mutual learning in both fashion and skateboarding.

The “Alien” collection is available online starting and in-store at select retailers in Brazil.
