Summary
- Kojima Productions has officially announced its latest IP, Physint
- The game is an action espionage title and a collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment
- The key cast includes Charlee Fraser, Don Lee and Minami Hamabe
I was so excited during Kojima Productions’ 10th-anniversary livestream! They announced a brand new action-espionage game called *Physint*, alongside updates on *OD* and *Death Stranding: Mosquito*. And the cast? Seriously amazing – Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe are all going to be in it! They even showed off the official poster art, which looks incredible.
Currently being developed, *Physint* is an ambitious project that aims to combine the immersive storytelling of movies with the interactive nature of video games. Announced in January 2024 as a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment, creator Hideo Kojima calls *Physint* a “next-generation action espionage game.” He believes this title, which he anticipates releasing around his 40th anniversary as a game developer, will represent the peak of his career.
Although the project is still in its early stages, it’s expected to strongly appeal to fans of the genre, especially those who enjoyed Hideo Kojima’s *Metal Gear* series. Kojima previously mentioned that *Physint* is probably five or six years away from being released, potentially launching around 2030 and possibly as a new game for the PlayStation 6.
