‘The Diplomat’ (2023– )

As a huge fan, I’m really hooked on Debora Cahn’s political thriller! It centers around Keri Russell, who plays Kate Wyler, the U.S. ambassador, and she’s juggling international crises while also dealing with a tricky marriage. The third season dropped on October 16, 2025, and thankfully, Netflix has already greenlit a fourth! The cast is fantastic too – Rufus Sewell, David Gyasi, and the always amazing Allison Janney all deliver great performances. You can find it streaming on Netflix, and I highly recommend checking it out.
‘Breaking Bad’ (2008–2013)

Breaking Bad, the acclaimed AMC drama that ran from 2008 to 2013, tells the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who starts making methamphetamine with his former student, Jesse Pinkman. You can now watch the series on Max, and find episode information and bonus content on HBO’s website.
‘Task’ (2025)

I was completely hooked by this new HBO miniseries! It’s a crime drama created by Brad Ingelsby, and it follows an FBI team in Philadelphia as they go after dangerous gangs who are robbing each other. Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey are fantastic in the lead roles. It originally aired from September to October of 2025, and you can now stream all seven episodes on Max. What’s really cool is that they filmed the whole thing right here in Pennsylvania, which added a lot to the atmosphere.

‘Nobody Wants This’ (2024– )

I’m really enjoying this Netflix rom-com created by Erin Foster! It’s about Joanne, who’s a bit skeptical about religion and hosts a podcast, and Noah, who’s a rabbi. The show follows their relationship as they deal with family and their different beliefs. The first season dropped in September 2024, and the second season came out in October 2025 – they even added some new faces to the cast! Good news for fans – it’s been renewed for a third season! You can find it streaming on Netflix.
