‘Love is Blind: Brazil’ resumes on Netflix this coming Wednesday, September 10. This new season focuses on individuals aged over 50, employing the pod-to-proposal format once more and chronicling their relationships as they progress beyond the show and into reality.
In simpler terms, Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo host the Brazilian version of a show that was originally developed by Chris Coelen. The series follows several couples as they go through hidden truths, living together, family gatherings, and important decisions leading up to their wedding day throughout the season.
‘The Girlfriend’ (2025)
The intriguing limited series titled ‘The Girlfriend’ will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting Wednesday, September 10. It follows the intensifying conflict between Laura and her son’s girlfriend, Cherry, as initial suspicions morph into an intense mental battle that becomes a high-stakes game.
In my opinion, I’ve been captivated by a gripping six-part TV drama that has me on the edge of my seat. As a fan, I can say it’s based on Michelle Frances’ novel, and Robin Wright brilliantly portrays Laura in this production. Olivia Cooke plays Cherry, with Laurie Davidson, Waleed Zuaiter, and Anna Chancellor contributing rich performances in supporting roles. The series is the work of Imaginarium Productions, in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, and I’m honored to see Robin Wright stepping behind the camera to direct some of the episodes. This thrilling saga promises an unforgettable journey!
‘The Hardacres’ (2024–)
‘Beginning on Wednesday, September 10, The Hardacres series will be available to stream across North America on BritBox. This drama follows a working-class family from Yorkshire in the 1890s, who find themselves catapulted into a life of opulence and social pressures after an unexpected turn of fortune.’
I’m part of an intriguing period drama that goes by the name often attributed to Amy Roberts and Loren McLaughlan, who have brilliantly brought it to life from C. L. Skelton’s novels. I’m fortunate to be among the main cast alongside Claire Cooper and Liam McMahon. This initial season, skillfully produced by Playground Entertainment, consists of six captivating episodes.
‘Love Is Blind: France’ (2025–)
In just a few days, on Wednesday, September 10th, the French version of ‘Love Is Blind: France’ will debut on Netflix. This reality show features single individuals dating within pods, proposing marriage without seeing each other, and then testing their suitability beyond the experimental setup.
The series, co-hosted by Teddy Riner and Luthna Plocus, is produced by ITV Studios France and continues the franchise’s distinctive pattern of interconnected pods, unveilings, communal living, family presentations, and wedding considerations.

The heartwarming series ‘Zatima’ by Tyler Perry continues on BET+ from Thursday, September 11. In this new installment, the love story between Zac and Fatima unfolds further, as they navigate work pressures, past complications, and familial challenges that intensify their relationship’s journey.
In this new series, titled a spin-off of ‘Sistas’, we find Devale Ellis portraying Zac and Crystal Renee Hayslett as Fatima. The cast also includes Nzinga Imani and Remington Hoffman, among others. Hailing from Tyler Perry Studios, the upcoming season promises to introduce new challenges and twists for viewers.
‘Beauty in Black’ (2024–)
As I settle into my favorite chair with a bowl of popcorn, ready for another round of binge-watching, I eagerly anticipate the continuation of “Beauty in Black,” streaming exclusively on Netflix this coming Thursday, September 11th. In this gripping series, I find myself drawn into the world of Kimmie, a young woman navigating the treacherous waters of a cosmetics empire intertwined with criminal underpinnings. As she battles to safeguard herself and those dear to her, each episode promises to keep me on the edge of my seat, questioning who can be trusted and what lies ahead in this captivating tale. Can’t wait!
Developed by Tyler Perry, this series features Taylor Polidore Williams portraying the character Kimmie. Notable members of the supporting cast have been Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, and Ricco Ross. The show combines elements of family power struggles with the suspenseful undertones of a crime drama.
‘Wolf King’ (2025–)
On Thursday, September 11, the enchanting animated series ‘Wolf King’ resumes on Netflix, following Drew Ferran as he embarks further into his journey, learning that he is an heir to a werewolf lineage and a divided realm.
Drawing inspiration from Curtis Jobling’s ‘Wereworld’ books, I find myself immersed in a captivating series where the gifted Ceallach (Cel) Spellman lends his voice as Drew. The intricate politics among the creature-clans, the entanglements of court intrigue, and the epic quests all unfold magnificently across Season 2.
‘Top End Bub’ (2025–)
On Friday, September 12, the series ‘Top End Bub’ will debut on Prime Video. The story follows Lauren, an Indigenous lawyer, and her spouse Ned, who are moving to Australia’s northern region, known as the Top End, to care for Lauren’s orphaned niece.
Hailing from Miranda Tapsell and Joshua Tyler, a continuation of their film ‘Top End Wedding’, this eight-part series features Tapsell and Gwilym Lee as the leads. The episodes are helmed by directors Shari Sebbens and Christiaan Van Vuuren, and the production is handled by Goalpost Pictures.
‘Beauty and the Bester’ (2025)
The intriguing true-crime docuseries titled ‘Beauty and the Bester’ will premiere on Friday, September 12 on Netflix. This captivating series delves into the relationship between Dr. Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester, as well as the circumstances surrounding his escape from prison.
