Looking for something to watch on Apple TV+ this weekend? There’s a great selection of new shows, returning favorites, and popular originals. We’ve rounded up ten series – including sci-fi, thrillers, comedies, workplace dramas, and documentaries – to help you find the perfect fit. Start with the newest titles, then check out Apple’s biggest hits and a few well-loved classics. Get ready to relax and enjoy!

‘Pluribus’ (2025–)

The new drama from Vince Gilligan centers on Carol Sturka, a woman who remains unaffected by a worldwide phenomenon forcing happiness on everyone. Starring Rhea Seehorn, the show debuted with two episodes and will release new installments weekly. Apple TV+ reports that the nine-episode first season is currently their most popular show, and it’s broken records for viewership of a drama series on the platform.

‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ (2025–)

This documentary series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the intense world of restaurant inspections, featuring exclusive access to anonymous Michelin star reviewers. Each episode follows chefs in different cities, revealing how factors like service, food quality, and attention to detail impact a restaurant’s star rating. The show focuses on the inspectors themselves and has an international setting. New episodes will be released weekly, making it a perfect show to watch between more involved series.

‘Down Cemetery Road’ (2025–)

As a big fan of spy thrillers, I’m really excited about this new UK series! It’s based on a Mick Herron novel and starts with a bang – literally, with a house explosion – and the disappearance of a young girl. It pulls a regular guy and a private eye into something much bigger than either of them expected. Apple’s given us a peek at who’s behind the camera and the main actors, and from what I’ve read, they’re aiming for that same clever, gritty feel as Herron’s other books, but this story is its own thing, separate from the Slough House crew. It sounds like it’s going to be a lean, focused mystery – not a sprawling season, which I always appreciate.

‘The Last Frontier’ (2025–)

Following a prison transport crash in Alaska, a U.S. marshal heads a massive search for escaped prisoners who have fled into the wilderness. Created by Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio and produced by Apple Studios, the series is a fast-paced thriller designed to unfold over eight episodes. The story will focus on the chase itself, filmed on location, with the stakes getting higher each week.

‘Palm Royale’ (2024–)

This funny and dramatic series is set among the wealthy socialites of Palm Beach and follows Maxine Simmons as she tries to climb into the town’s inner circle. Starring Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and others, the show offers a witty and glamorous look at social status and starting over. It’s currently streaming on Apple TV+, and you can find episode details, cast information, and trailers online to help you get caught up.

‘WondLa’ (2024–2025)

This animated sci-fi series, inspired by Tony DiTerlizzi’s books, tells the story of Eva Nine, who ventures out of her underground home to discover the alien world of Orbona with the help of new friends. It’s arriving this week on Apple TV+, featuring the voices of Jeanine Mason, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, and more. Skydance Animation and Gotham Group produced the show, which is planned to have multiple seasons leading to a final concluding season.

‘Prehistoric Planet’ (2022–2025)

This groundbreaking nature series brings the Late Cretaceous period to life with stunning, realistic visuals and immersive filmmaking techniques, all based on the latest scientific discoveries. Recent episodes feature narration by experienced naturalists and a score composed by Hans Zimmer and his team. The visual effects are created by MPC, and the series is executive produced by Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton. New episodes are now available on Apple TV+.

‘Slow Horses’ (2022–)

Let me tell you, this spy drama is a winner. It focuses on a group of MI5 rejects stuck at a place called Slough House, and their boss, Jackson Lamb, doesn’t pull any punches! Apple’s website is great for keeping up with everything – you can easily follow the show’s story across all the seasons and see when new episodes are dropping. They’ve even got dedicated pages for each episode with trailers, recaps, and info on the cast, so it’s super easy to jump in, even if you’re new to the series. Honestly, it’s a really addictive show – you can binge it all at once, or follow along week by week as new episodes become available.

‘Invasion’ (2021–)

This science fiction series tells the story of how people around the world react to an alien invasion, shown through the eyes of characters on different continents. The show is released weekly, and the platform organizes episodes by location, so you can easily follow the stories of your favorite characters. It’s currently one of the most popular shows on Apple.

‘The Morning Show’ (2019–)

Apple TV+’s popular show takes a behind-the-scenes look at the high-stakes world of morning news, focusing on the challenges faced by its hosts and those in charge as the industry changes. The show’s website features the main cast, including Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and explains what the latest season is about. Viewers can either watch from the very beginning or quickly access recent episodes through the season selection. It continues to be one of Apple TV+’s most important programs.
