As a big fan of quality TV, I remember when ‘The Morning Show’ first dropped on November 1, 2019 – it really put the streaming service on the map! It’s a fascinating look behind the scenes of a morning news show, and it doesn’t shy away from the messy stuff – power struggles, scandals, and everything that happens when someone in the public eye messes up. With Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon leading the cast, it really digs into important topics like what it’s like to work in certain environments and how the media is changing. Over the seasons, it’s broadened its scope to cover bigger world events and the politics within the show itself, and it’s still one of the streaming service’s most talked-about shows.
