‘Spiral: From the Book of Saw’ (2021)

The film, a spin-off from the popular ‘Saw’ horror series, dives deeper into that world and throws Banks into a dangerous, deadly game. It became available on Netflix on March 19th, combining realistic police work with the terrifying traps fans expect from ‘Saw’.
‘The Bad Guys 2’ (2025)

This animated movie is the follow-up to the popular 2022 film, and it continues the story of a group of former animal criminals trying to live as heroes. Produced by DreamWorks Animation, the movie focuses on the importance of friendship and the challenges of being seen as ‘good’ when everyone remembers your past mistakes. It’s now available to stream, and features the original voice cast in a thrilling new heist adventure.
‘Saw X’ (2023)

The latest installment in the popular horror series offers a more personal look at Jigsaw’s story. This film, produced by Twisted Pictures, takes place between the first two movies and follows John Kramer as he travels to Mexico in search of a cure for his illness. After becoming a victim of medical fraud, he begins his transformation back into the infamous trap-maker. You can watch it now this weekend, and reviewers are pointing out that it focuses more on character development than previous films in the series.
‘The Creator’ (2023)

This visually impressive sci-fi movie, directed by Gareth Edwards, takes place during a war between humans and AI. It follows a retired special forces operative tasked with eliminating the creator of a powerful AI. Produced by New Regency Pictures, the film delves into thought-provoking questions about what it means to be human, the role of technology, and right versus wrong. Now available to watch, the film is praised for its stunning visuals and its detailed depiction of a futuristic Southeast Asia.
‘Saw V’ (2008)

The latest installment in the Saw horror series continues the terrifying story started by Jigsaw, now through his follower. The film adds another layer to the franchise’s complicated timeline and delves deeper into the origins of those helping John Kramer carry out his twisted plans.
‘Saw’ (2004)

The original Saw movie kicked off a hugely popular horror series, introducing the terrifying Jigsaw Killer. Made on a small budget by Twisted Pictures, the film follows two strangers who find themselves trapped and forced to play a deadly game to stay alive. It quickly became a sensation thanks to its cleverness and unexpected turns. If you’re interested in seeing where it all began, the movie is available to watch this weekend. Its popularity launched a decade of follow-up films and expanded the Saw universe.
‘Small Time Crooks’ (2000)

I recently watched this hilarious movie directed by Woody Allen, and I couldn’t stop laughing! It’s about a group of really clumsy thieves who try this crazy plan to rob a bank by digging a tunnel from a bakery. But the funny thing is, the bakery ends up becoming incredibly popular! Woody Allen stars in it, along with Tracey Ullman and Hugh Grant, and it’s a brilliant mix of a classic heist movie and just wonderfully silly family drama. I found it on Netflix starting March 17th, and I highly recommend it!
