The film highlights the complicated journeys they make as they search for food and resources in a world that’s becoming more challenging. Through stunning and rare footage, scientists and filmmakers show the difficulties elephants face today.
‘Zootopia 2’ (2025)

The world of Zootopia is back! Detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are on the case again, this time facing a clever new villain – a reptile who’s causing trouble all over the city. As they investigate, they’ll meet new animals and deal with changes happening in Zootopia, all while trying to solve the mystery. This new story builds on everything fans loved about the first Zootopia movie.
‘Predator: Badlands’ (2025)

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the latest installment in the Predator series takes place in a future setting. It centers on two sisters struggling to survive after becoming the prey of a highly advanced alien hunter. This Predator uses cutting-edge weapons and can become invisible, forcing the sisters to use their intelligence and the dangerous surroundings to stay one step ahead. Like previous films in the franchise, this one highlights the battle between human resourcefulness and powerful alien technology.
‘Miraculous World: Tokyo, Stellar Force’ (2025)

Marinette and Adrien head to Japan for an important mission, leaving Paris behind. They have to team up to defeat a powerful, world-threatening force and save the planet from chaos. This special episode, produced by The Walt Disney Company France, shows how far the Miraculous heroes’ adventures reach, introducing new friends and obstacles in the vibrant city of Tokyo.
‘Inside Out 2’ (2024)

In Pixar’s latest film, we revisit Riley as she starts her teenage years and faces all the changes that come with them. Her core emotions – like Joy and Sadness – are thrown off balance by the arrival of new feelings such as Anxiety and Ennui. These emotions have to learn to work together as Riley deals with the challenges of high school and her hobbies. The movie uses Pixar’s signature creative visuals to explore the complicated feelings of growing up.
‘Zootopia’ (2016)

Zootopia tells the story of Judy Hopps, a determined rabbit who becomes the first of her kind to join the city police. Eager to prove herself, she’s forced to partner with Nick Wilde, a sly and untrusting fox, to investigate the strange vanishing of several predators. As they work together, Judy and Nick discover a large-scale plot that could destroy the peace between the city’s many animal communities. This beautifully animated Disney film explores issues of bias and the importance of unity in a vibrant and detailed city setting.
‘Rio 2’ (2014)

As a huge animation fan, I really enjoyed this follow-up to ‘Rio’! It’s awesome to see Blu, the macaw, and his family venture out of Rio de Janeiro and into the Amazon rainforest to discover where they really come from. It’s not easy for Blu adjusting to life in the wild, and things get complicated when he runs into his old enemy, Nigel, plus some really bad guys who are illegally logging. The movie is bursting with colorful animation, fantastic music, and really shows off how incredible the South American rainforest is.
‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ (2018)

In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” the video game villain Ralph and his friend Vanellope venture outside the arcade and into the vast world of the internet. They’re on a quest to find a part to fix Vanellope’s game, which takes them through social media and online stores. During their adventure, they meet other Disney characters and encounter common internet trends, all while testing the strength of their friendship. This Disney animated film offers a fun look at modern digital life and how relationships change over time.
‘Rio’ (2011)

Blu, a unique blue macaw, lives a comfortable but protected life in Minnesota. His world changes when he’s brought to Brazil as part of an effort to save his species. There, he meets Jewel, a free-spirited and daring macaw, and the pair are soon on the run from animal smugglers. Even though Blu can’t fly, he has to find the bravery to escape and protect his new friends amidst the excitement of the Brazilian Carnival. This animated film from 20th Century Fox Animation is celebrated for its bright, colorful animation and lively Brazilian music.
‘Ice Age’ (2002)

When the ice age began, a moody mammoth, a witty sloth, and a sneaky saber-toothed tiger unexpectedly teamed up. They joined forces to reunite a lost baby with its human family, all while battling the harsh environment and their own disagreements. This movie from 20th Century Fox also introduced Scrat, a hilarious prehistoric squirrel constantly chasing an acorn. It’s a landmark film in early 2000s animation and launched a very successful series of movies.
