Here’s a look at the new movies and shows coming to Peacock the week of November 17th to November 23rd, 2025. You’ll find everything from funny classics and family-friendly cartoons to gripping true crime and a behind-the-scenes look at a theme park, along with information about the people who made them and what each program is about.
‘The Good Place’ (2016–2020)

I’m so excited for ‘The Good Place’ to arrive on November 17th! It’s a show created by Michael Schur – the guy behind ‘Parks and Recreation’ and ‘The Office’ – and it’s seriously brilliant. It follows Eleanor Shellstrop, who ends up in the afterlife and it’s…well, not what you’d expect. She’s surrounded by a really interesting group – an ethics professor, a super-smart assistant, and this incredibly optimistic architect. Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D’Arcy Carden, and Manny Jacinto all star, and over four seasons, the show manages to be both hilarious and genuinely thought-provoking, mixing classic sitcom vibes with surprisingly deep philosophical questions. Schur was the showrunner, and Universal Television brought it all to life.
‘Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks’ (2025)

As a total movie and theme park fanatic, I’m incredibly excited about this new three-part documentary coming November 17th! It’s all about the history of Universal, from their incredible films to their amazing theme parks. They’ve really opened up the archives, showing rare footage and including brand new interviews. Seriously, the lineup is stunning – Donna Langley, Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, Jon M. Chu, Bryce Dallas Howard, Michelle Yeoh, and even Vin Diesel all share their perspectives. What’s really cool is that Universal gave the filmmakers unprecedented access, so you get a truly inside look from the people who built the magic – the artists, executives, and everyone involved. It all builds up to the big opening of Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe, which I can’t wait to see!
‘Trolls: The Beat Goes On!’ (2018–2019)

Premiering on Monday, November 17th, this animated series takes place between the first and second ‘Trolls’ movies. It follows Poppy, Branch, and their friends in the Troll Village on colorful, musical adventures. The show features the voices of Skylar Astin, Amanda Leighton, Ron Funches, and many others, and is produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. Over eight seasons and 52 episodes, the series added to the ‘Trolls’ story with new songs and familiar characters.
‘Cold Justice’ (2013–present)

The new true-crime series premieres on Tuesday, November 18th. It follows Kelly Siegler, a former prosecutor from Harris County, Texas, and her team of experienced investigators as they revisit cold-case homicides, working alongside local police. Produced by Dick Wolf, the show has already helped lead to arrests and convictions in several areas. Featuring seasoned investigators like Yolanda McClary, Johnny Bonds, and Steve Spingola, each episode delves into case files, forensic evidence, and the development of witness testimony.
‘A Different Breed’ (2025)

Premiering on Thursday, November 20th, this new series explores the exciting world of competitive dog sports like agility, dock diving, and protection work. It follows trainers and their dogs as they compete in challenging events and championships. Each episode is around 30 minutes long and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the training, communities, and judging involved in these sports. The series is produced in the United States.
‘Southern Charm’ (2014–present)

The popular reality series set in Charleston returns on Thursday, November 20th. Created by Bryan Kestner and Whitney Sudler-Smith, the show follows the lives, relationships, and businesses of a group of friends, including Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Austen Kroll, and Madison LeCroy. Now in its eleventh season (following ten previous seasons and spin-offs like ‘Southern Hospitality’), the latest episodes combine personal drama with Charleston’s social scene and the cast’s various projects. Season 11 premiered in November 2025 with both familiar and new faces.
