Premiering on HBO Max on Wednesday, October 22nd, this biopic tells the story of Whitney Houston’s life and career, from her early discovery to becoming a global superstar. Naomi Ackie stars as Houston, with Stanley Tucci playing Clive Davis, Ashton Sanders as Bobby Brown, and other notable cast members including Nafessa Williams, Tamara Tunie, and Clarke Peters. Directed by Kasi Lemmons and written by Anthony McCarten, the film showcases both iconic concert performances and intimate studio moments, exploring Houston’s triumphs and struggles. ‘Regretting You’ (2025)

Directed by Josh Boone and starring Allison Williams and Mckenna Grace, alongside Dave Franco and others, the film follows both a young woman experiencing first love and her mother confronting her past. It’s a story about growing up and getting a second chance. The movie was produced by Paramount Pictures and Constantin Film, with cinematography by Tim Orr and music by Nathaniel Walcott.

‘Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost’ (2025)

A new documentary about comedy legends Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara premieres on Apple TV+ on October 24th. Directed by their son, Ben Stiller, the film—which lasts approximately 1 hour and 38 minutes—uses family photos and interviews to tell the story of their careers, their creative partnership, and their life together.
