HBO might have had a slow summer, but they’re preparing a huge slate of shows expected to be major talking points next year.
Following the Emmy Awards, HBO president Casey Bloys announced when six of their most anticipated shows will debut.
1. Euphoria Season 3
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of *Euphoria*, which hasn’t had a new season in a while. Following the end of season two in January 2022, season three is now expected to premiere this spring, probably in March, to qualify for Emmy nominations.
2. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1

The upcoming series, *A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms*, is confirmed to launch in January. It’s based on the *Tales of Dunk and Egg* stories by George R.R. Martin.
3. House of the Dragon Season 3

The show *House of the Dragon* is expected to finish its story about the conflict between the Greens and Blacks around June, just before the eligibility period for the 2026 Emmy Awards begins.
4. Industry Season 4

HBO’s compelling drama *Industry* is coming back for a fourth season this January. Often compared to *Succession*, but with a focus on the intense and sometimes scandalous lives of young bankers, the show has been quietly building a dedicated following and is now considered one of HBO’s strongest series.
5. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe Season 1

Comedy fans have a new show to anticipate: *Stuart Saves the Universe*, a spin-off of *The Big Bang Theory*. According to Bloys, it’s scheduled to debut in 2026 and promises to be very funny.
6. Harry Potter Season 1

There haven’t been many casting announcements for the highly anticipated *Harry Potter* series yet, and the actor playing Voldemort remains unknown. However, HBO’s Bloys confirmed the show is still on track to premiere in 2027.
