
HBO Max is raising its subscription costs once more, marking another price increase in just one year, Warner Bros. Discovery revealed on Tuesday.
The price changes will affect both monthly and annual plans, taking effect starting October 21.
The cost of the Basic plan is increasing slightly. The monthly price with ads will now be $10.99, a $1 increase, and the annual plan will go up to $109.99, which is $10 more than before.
The Standard plan will increase by $1.50 per month, bringing the new monthly cost to $18.49. The yearly Standard subscription will now cost $184.99, a $15 increase. For Premium subscribers, the monthly price will rise by $2 to $22.99, and the annual plan will go up to $229.99, which is $20 more than before.
The company announced that current monthly subscribers will receive a notice 30 days before their plan renews, and the new pricing will take effect with their next bill on or after November 20, 2025. Annual subscribers will be notified 30 days before their renewal date, and the price change will apply at that time.
HBO Max is raising its prices, reflecting increased demand for its shows and features. Subscribers can expect to pay a little more each month.
