High-end automaker Halcyon is launching its debut venture: a modernized, electric Rolls-Royce Corniche, refurbished as a limited edition of only 60 units. This revamped classic combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced electric vehicle technology, ushering in a novel chapter for British automotive restorations.
Supported by Evice Group, Halcyon is committed to restoring iconic Rolls-Royce models while maintaining their enduring grace. The Corniche, once admired for its unmatched luxury, now features a 800-volt electric foundation, generating up to 500 horsepower and offering a driving range of 250 miles. In partnership with Evice Technologies, the powertrain is designed to provide silent operation, emulating Charles Rolls’ original dream of “silent and clean” motoring.
Every vehicle goes through an intricate 12-month construction, investing more than 1,000 hours in perfecting the bodywork. Before applying the paint, the chassis is carefully stripped down to its raw metal. A detailed multi-step painting process then guarantees a pristine exterior finish. Minute exterior adjustments amplify the car’s impressive stature, while the interior harmoniously blends contemporary technology. Special features include a custom audio system, a hidden infotainment system compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay, and a designated area for unique dashboard artwork.
Improvements in performance go beyond just electrification, as active suspensions and improved braking systems provide a seamless, comfortable driving experience. The vehicle offers three distinct driving modes: Touring, Drive, and Sporty, allowing drivers to adjust settings according to their preferred driving style.
Only 60 custom-crafted models of Halcyon’s refurbished Corniche are up for grabs, starting at £395,000 GBP ($510,596 USD). The purchase process begins with a holding deposit now, and production is scheduled to start towards the end of 2025, with deliveries expected in Q4 2026. No donor vehicle is included in this price.
