The monsters were causing massive destruction, smashing planes as they rampaged. And there was a third giant creature among them – could it be Titan X, the main villain for the second season of Monarch? It certainly seems likely. The show also cleverly used drone helicopters, which was a great detail. The Monarch: Legacy of Monsters drone display had a unique Hollywood connection, launching from Hollywood Forever Cemetery – the final resting place of many movie legends and a popular spot for outdoor summer film screenings. It’s fun how quickly the characters felt like true Los Angeles residents!
Fans are wondering if the impressive drone show featured in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters – which depicted Godzilla and Kong – will travel to other cities. San Francisco hasn’t been virtually ‘attacked’ by Godzilla in a while, and it’s a logical location given the show’s setting. Plus, Kong has never been shown on the Golden Gate Bridge before! While we won’t suggest Tokyo – they’ve already dealt with enough giant monster mayhem – you can see Godzilla and Kong in season two of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, now available on Apple TV+.
