Master the art of hidden power with the optimal Genshin Impact Nefer build and help maintain peace between the factions of Nod-Krai. Nefer is a powerful 5-star character who uses Dendro energy and a Catalyst, and she excels as the main damage dealer in Bloom team setups.
Nefer’s abilities are quite similar to Lauma’s, and the two characters work well together in a team. Her special attack boosts her movement speed and puts her into a ‘Slither’ state, which finishes by dealing Dendro damage to surrounding enemies. Additionally, she changes the standard Bloom reaction into a more powerful Lunar-Bloom.
Similar to Lauma, Nefer can use Verdant Dew, which is created when the team activates Lunar-Bloom. Her Elemental Skill, Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights, deals Dendro damage in an area and puts her into Shadow Dance. Normally, Shadow Dance just lowers the stamina cost of her charged attacks. But if Nefer has Verdant Dew, her charged attack is upgraded to an Enhanced Charged Attack that uses no stamina. While in Shadow Dance, Nefer also creates extra Verdant Dew, and the amount she generates increases with her Elemental Mastery.
With the Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam talent, Dendro Cores are changed into Seeds of Deceit. These Seeds don’t explode and won’t cause the Burgeon or Hyperbloom reactions.
Her Elemental Burst, Sacred Vow: True Eye’s Phantasm, damages all nearby enemies with Dendro energy. It uses up all collected Veils of Falsehood to significantly increase the damage.
Nefer can gain an effect called Veils of Falsehood by collecting Seeds of Deceit, either with her regular Charged Attack or a stronger, Enhanced Charged Attack. When Nefer has three Veils of Falsehood, her Elemental Mastery increases.
Obtaining duplicates of Nefer raises her Constellation Level and unlocks additional benefits:
Level | Effects |
---|---|
1 | – Increases Lunar-Bloom DMG from Enhanced Charged Attack based on Elemental Mastery; effect can be increased by Veils of Falsehood. |
2 | – Increases the maximum stacks of Veil of Falsehood to 5 and their duration by 5s.
– Increases Elemental Mastery gained from Veils of Falsehood. – Allows Elemental Skill to immediately create 2 stacks of Veil of Falsehood. – Increases Enhanced Charged Attack DMG. |
3 | – Increases Skill Level by 3, up to 15. |
4 | – Increases rate of Verdant Dew generation when Nefer is on the field and in the Shadow Dance state.
– Decreases Dendro RES of enemies when Nefer is in the Shadow Dance state. |
5 | – Increases Burst Level by 3, up to 15. |
6 | – Increases the Enhanced Charged Attack DMG and adds extra instances of Dendro DMG, counting as Lunar-Bloom DMG. |
Best Nefer weapons – Genshin Impact
Nefer relies heavily on Elemental Mastery and ATK, along with standard CRIT stats. Her special Catalyst, the Reliquary of Truth, provides a lot of benefits. It boosts both CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate, and temporarily increases Elemental Mastery after using a Skill. Dealing Lunar-Bloom damage also grants a temporary CRIT DMG boost. When both of these temporary boosts are active, they become even more powerful.

Best Nefer artifacts – Genshin Impact
When building Nefer’s gear, focus on stats like Elemental Mastery, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack. Energy Recharge is also helpful, as it allows Nefer to use their Elemental Burst more often when they have enough Veils of Falsehood to maximize its impact.
Her ‘Night of the Sky’s Unveiling’ set is particularly strong, and really shines when used with a few other Nod-Krai characters.
Best Artifact Sets for Nefer:
- Night of the Sky’s Unveiling (4) – +80 Elemental Mastery, gain the Gleaming Moon: Intent effect for 4s when Lunar Reactions are triggered while the wearer is on the field; +15%/30% CRIT Rate when the party’s Moonsign is Nascent Gleam/Ascendant Gleam; +10% Lunar Reaction DMG for the entire party for each different Gleaming Moon effect party members have.

Best Nefer teams – Genshin Impact
Nefer excels as a primary damage dealer, especially in Bloom team compositions. Her performance is significantly boosted when paired with other characters from the Nod-Krai region.
- Nefer (Main DPS), Nilou (Sub DPS), Lauma (Support), Aino (Support)
Lauma is the best Support character for Nefer, activating Lunar-Bloom and creating Verdant Dew, while also increasing the team’s Lunar-Bloom damage. Nilou works perfectly as the main Dendro source in this team, and Aino adds a bonus by strengthening the team’s Moonsign effects.
Nefer generally works well with any team built around Bloom, making characters like Nahida, Kirara, Kokomi, Yelan, Xingqiu, and Furina great choices to play with her.
