HoYoverse announced the character banners for Genshin Impact version 6.1, called ‘Luna II,’ and shared when each character will be featured.
Unlike the previous update which introduced three new characters, Luna II will add just one: Nefer, a merchant specializing in intelligence who has moved from Sumeru to Nasha Town in Nod-Krai.

Genshin Impact Luna II banners: Phase 1
Beginning with the release of the Luna II update on October 22, 2025, these characters will become available.
- Banner #1: Nefer (5-Star, Dendro, Catalyst) and three 4-Star characters
- Banner #2: Furina (5-Star, Hydro, Sword) and three 4-Star characters
Nefer
Nefer, like Lauma, has a powerful, fast-moving Charged Attack inspired by animals. She also uses Verdant Dew to strengthen both her Elemental Skill and Charged Attack. As a character from Nod-Krai, Nefer benefits from Moonsign buffs and can activate the enhanced Lunar Bloom effect. This makes her a strong choice as the main damage dealer in teams focused on Lunar Bloom, and she works particularly well alongside Lauma.
Furina
Furina is a powerful Support character who can also deal extra damage. She’s very flexible, able to heal allies, consistently apply the Hydro element without being on the field, and increase the team’s overall damage. Because she constantly changes the team’s HP, she works especially well with teams that rely on HP-based abilities and effects.
Genshin Impact Luna II banners: Phase 2
The in-game banners will update after three weeks, on November 12, 2025, which is when the following characters will become available:
- Banner #3: Arlecchino (5-Star, Pyro, Polearm) and three 4-Star characters
- Banner #4: Zhongli (5-Star, Geo, Polearm) and three 4-Star characters
Arlecchino
Arlecchino is a strong damage dealer who heavily relies on the ‘Bond of Life’ system first seen in Fontaine. She doesn’t need much external healing, as she can boost her own attacks with Fire damage to create powerful reactions.
Zhongli
Zhongli is a strong support character who fits well in many teams. His shields protect allies, and his abilities weaken enemies, helping the team survive and deal more damage.
