‘One Piece’ (1999–Present)

One Piece tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as they adventure across the seas in search of a legendary treasure. Over more than a thousand episodes, the series takes viewers to incredible islands where they battle strong opponents like the Marines and other pirate crews. Based on Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga, One Piece has become a worldwide hit, loved for its detailed world and the strong relationships between its characters.
‘The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest’ (2025)

‘The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest’ tells the story of a gifted magician wrongly exiled from his important role. Determined to prove his doubters wrong, he uses his newfound freedom to hone his magical abilities. Along the way, he’ll meet both friends and foes as he journeys through a world brimming with magical creatures and political schemes. The series centers on his journey of self-improvement and reclaiming his honor as a powerful sorcerer.
‘A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai’ (2025)

“A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” follows a hero who is unexpectedly transported to a fantasy world. Instead of fighting monsters, his special ability lets him collect valuable materials. The story focuses on how he uses clever planning and resourcefulness to survive and build a life for himself in this new, magical land, all while uncovering its mysteries.
‘SPY x FAMILY’ (2022–Present)

‘SPY x FAMILY’ follows a top spy, Twilight, who needs to create a fake family to succeed on a critical mission. He ends up choosing a skilled assassin to be his wife and a telepathic child as his daughter, without realizing their true professions. The series humorously portrays their attempts to keep their secrets hidden as they deal with ordinary family life and school activities, all while showcasing the surprisingly real connections they develop with each other.
‘My Hero Academia’ (2016–Present)

In ‘My Hero Academia,’ almost everyone has a superpower called a Quirk. The story centers on Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without powers who unexpectedly gains the incredible ability of the world’s most famous hero. He then attends a special school to become a hero, training with others while facing a growing threat from a group of dangerous villains. The series follows Izuku’s journey as he learns the responsibilities and true meaning of being a hero and a beacon of hope.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ (2020–Present)

Okay, let me tell you about ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’. It’s a wild ride centered around Yuji Itadori, an ordinary high schooler who suddenly finds himself possessed by a ridiculously powerful, ancient curse named Ryomen Sukuna. To fix things – and believe me, they’re seriously messed up – he enlists in a secret society of sorcerers. Their mission? Hunt down Sukuna’s remaining fingers and ultimately destroy him. What really grabbed me, though, wasn’t just the over-the-top, beautifully animated fight scenes, but the show’s willingness to dive into some really dark and complex emotions, manifesting them as these terrifying ‘Curses’. The character relationships are fascinatingly layered too – it’s not just about good versus evil, it’s messy and real. Definitely one to watch if you’re looking for something that’s both visually stunning and emotionally engaging.
‘Solo Leveling’ (2024–Present)

‘Solo Leveling’ is a story about hunters who battle monsters appearing from strange portals. Sung Jinwoo starts as the weakest hunter ever, but after a near-fatal experience in a dungeon, he gains the power to grow stronger with each fight. He then sets out to discover where his new abilities come from and ultimately becomes an incredibly powerful warrior. The series originated as a hit web novel in South Korea and has quickly become one of the platform’s most popular titles.
‘Campfire Cooking in Another World with my Absurd Skill’ (2023–Present)

‘Campfire Cooking in Another World with my Absurd Skill’ is about Tsuyoshi Mukoda, who unexpectedly finds himself in a fantasy world. His special ability is a bit unusual – he can instantly order modern Japanese groceries! He uses his cooking skills to befriend powerful creatures, who then become his loyal companions. The series is a fun adventure filled with delicious food and travels through a magical world.
‘My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s’ (2025)

I recently stumbled upon this awesome isekai anime called ‘My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s’ and I’m hooked! It’s about a guy, Akira Oda, who gets transported to another world with his classmates. Unlike everyone else who gets typical hero powers, he ends up with insane assassin skills. Instead of being the face of the operation, he prefers to work from the shadows, protecting his friends and figuring out why they were all summoned in the first place. What I really love is how clever and strategic he is in battle, and the show does a great job of building a really complex and dangerous political world around him.
‘Gachiakuta’ (2025)

‘Gachiakuta’ tells the story of Rudo, a boy wrongly accused of a crime and banished to a dangerous underground world called the Abyss. There, he discovers he has the power to create weapons from trash. He teams up with a group called the Cleaners, who battle monsters and search for a way to return to the surface. The series is known for its unique visual style and explores themes of waste and how society overlooks those in need.
