I’m really excited about this movie! Nicolas Cage is playing John Madden, which is already amazing. And the cast around him is incredible – Christian Bale as Al Davis, the Raiders owner, Kathryn Hahn as Madden’s wife, Virginia, and even John Mulaney as the founder of Electronic Arts, Trip Hawkins. Sienna Miller will be playing Carol Davis, Al’s wife, and Shane Gillis and Joel Murray are also joining the team. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic film!

This movie has been in the works for years. Initially, Will Ferrell was considered for the lead role, but Nicolas Cage took over in 2023. Filming started in Atlanta in April, but there were reports of disagreements on set between the director, David O. Russell, and some crew members, leading to some people reportedly leaving the production.
