
Amazon’s MGM Studios and Kilter Films have announced that the second season of Fallout will debut on Prime Video on December 17, 2025. This eight-episode season will be rolled out weekly, with the finale airing on February 4, 2026. The series will be available for streaming in English worldwide, as well as dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
New teaser trailer unveiled at Gamescom 2025
During Gamescom Opening Night Live, the eagerly awaited teaser trailer for the upcoming season was unveiled to a crowd of more than 5,000 spectators. The executive producers, Jonathan Nolan, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner, along with stars Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten, appeared on stage for a discussion about the new season’s key issues and narrative.
The sneak peek unveiled the menacing Deathclaw for viewers and also presented a fresh addition to the team in the form of Justin Theroux, taking on the legendary role of Robert House.
What to expect in Fallout Season 2
In the second season, we’ll dive straight into the aftermath of the thrilling Season 1 finale, venturing into the desolate Mojave desert and the vibrant mayhem of New Vegas. The much-loved characters Lucy (Ella Purnell), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) will carry on their adventures, facing increased risks and fresh perils along the way.
The show continues to reflect the essence of its video game origins, incorporating black comedy, survival elements, and struggles between the rich and poor in a desolate world where scant resources are up for grabs.
Fallout’s global success on Prime Video
After its premiere, Fallout has emerged as one of Prime Video’s most successful series, captivating more than 100 million viewers globally. It holds a place in the top three most-viewed shows on the platform of all time.
The series was made jointly by Kilter Films, along with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, and is overseen by executive producers including Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Graham Wagner, Todd Howard, and Athena Wickham.
