For the fifth installment of Palace’s Summer lineup, they’ve teamed up with skate brand Sci-Fi Fantasy based in Los Angeles, as well as showcasing their own key items. Sci-Fi Fantasy, led by skater and photographer Jerry Hsu, infuses technology into its design philosophy, evident in the repeated motifs of city tech, modern Chinese fonts, and abstract digital simplicity.

Noteworthy is the distinctive 3D artwork by Jon Baken in Sci-Fi Fantasy’s collection, featuring an emblem with Chinese characters and “Palace Fantasy” at its base. This unique logo can be spotted in various hues such as pink, green, yellow, and purple on t-shirts, coach jackets, and trucker caps. In other parts of the range, a “Sci-Fi Palace Hyperreality” graphic combines typographic elements with a tricycle design, reminiscent of early internet styles. If you prefer a more minimalist look, bright yellow, black, and brown 6-Panel Caps display simple “Sci-Fi Palace” logos on the front.

As a dedicated fan from day one, I was thrilled to collaborate with Palace. My goal was to introduce our 3D designs, especially the urban motifs inspired by Asia and the tech elements we frequently experiment with. I can’t get enough of the new Tri logo; it’s my favorite piece in this collection. The combination of Sci-Fi Palace and Palace Fantasy? Piece of cake!

Besides the recent partnership, Palace has unveiled a variety of fresh inline graphic items and summer-friendly activewear. In Navy, Gray, Blue, and Black, a novel atomic-style illustration showcases a vibrant Palace logo at the heart of an interconnected network. Meanwhile, there’s a playful “This is my happy p(a)lace” t-shirt and a Gothic-themed t-shirt available in similar color schemes. To finish off, the collection features new triangle logo hoodies and ventilated jogger sets in faded hues of blue, green, and black.

The new Summer 2025 line is set to be released on May 30th, available both in physical stores, online platforms like ours, and Dover Street Market, all at 11 a.m. British Standard Time (BST). For our European customers, it will be accessible online at noon. For our American customers, it’ll be online at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time/8 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, available in-store in New York at the same time, and both in-store and via Dover Street Market in Los Angeles. The release will also occur on May 31st, both in-store and online in Japan and Seoul at 11 a.m., and through Palace WeChat in China at the same hour.
