In 2020, at the age of 75, the father of the actor known for Jumanji and a renowned wrestler passed away. Yet, this famous performer has always been open about his emotions towards his cherished family members.

To mark Rocky Johnson’s fifth birthday anniversary, Dwayne disclosed that he nurtured the actor who would later portray Black Adam with a mix of tender affection and challenging discipline.

On his social networking site, the actor known as The Red One posted a series of photos, some depicting Rocky Johnson on his own and others capturing heartwarming moments between them. Accompanying these images, he penned, “Celebrating your celestial birthday, Dad.

Yesterday was my father’s birthday, and it made me reflect quite deeply on him and our connection. I found myself having many ‘I wonder if…’ thoughts about him and us. He instilled a challenging yet profound love in me. Still, I’m grateful for the fact that he did show love towards me.

Additionally, in the caption, he expressed, “I’ve encountered many men in my journey who never experienced their father’s love. It can be tough to reconcile issues with a father who is no longer alive, but despite any difficulties or struggles, my father was a ‘life adapter,’ and he instilled in me the same qualities. Strive for hard work and adaptability.

Johnson also showed gratitude to his father for all the lessons he had taught him. 

At the moment, regarding his professional life, Johnson is busily getting ready for the premiere of The Smashing Machine. In this movie, he will depict the character of Mark Kerr. This film focuses on the triumphs and tribulations experienced by the mixed martial arts fighter throughout his career.
