Drake’s friend Top5 threatens to shoot Kendrick Lamar

As a long-time fan of hip hop, I must say that I find myself increasingly troubled by the escalating violence and threats being made within the community. Top5, a figure associated with Drake and OVO, has recently taken his actions to a dangerous new level by threatening Kendrick Lamar‘s life in a series of interviews.

As a die-hard fan of Drake, I’m closely tied to his OVO label. When it comes to sending out messages, I’ve been the one representing him, and right now, I’m standing tall for him against Kendrick Lamar. You see, Kendrick recently took a jab at Drake in their musical battle, and that’s not sitting well with me or the team.

Additionally, Top5 allegedly intimidated Kendrick Lamar mere weeks following his acquittal on a murder charge. In 2021, he was taken into custody and indicted for first-degree murder in connection with the death of Hashim Omar Hashi.

Despite any issues, Top5 made no hesitation in issuing threats against Kendrick, suggesting a drive-by shooting. In an interview on Late Night with Liyah Mai, he remarked about the “Not Like Us” rapper, “Tell him to come to Toronto. He’s Swiss cheese.” In other words, Top5 implied that Kendrick was vulnerable and easily harmed, adding, “I’ll be lurking in the shadows, wearing my Nike tech black, instructing YG to get us a driver, lowering the car window for some fresh air.

On two separate occasions, Top5 has made threats against Kendrick and Metro Boomin, following his acquittal in the murder case. Recently, during a conversation with DJ Akademiks and Adin Ross, he outlined potential consequences should Kendrick visit Toronto, Drake’s birthplace. Additionally, Top5 issued threats towards Metro Boomin after the release of “BBL Drizzy,” a diss track against Drake.

As a die-hard fan, I’m currently digging deep into the works of Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar. Right now, I’m immersed in understanding their styles, their music, and their journeys. There’s nothing underhanded about it. What I’m after is a one-on-one with Metro Boomin. No threats, no violence, just a heart-to-heart conversation. I’m eager to knock it out of the park in our interaction.

Kendrick Lamar has crossed the border, Chubbs is telling me this, and he’s past the border now,” he went on. “If Kendrick Lamar ever visits the Toronto Chinese restaurant New Ho King without a police escort of 20 officers… You’re out of your mind for challenging my street cred.

K Dot’s companions, Hitta J3 and Smac, took up his challenge based on his words. So far, Drake has remained silent regarding the alleged threats.
